Archibald Andrews, whom everyone knows by the nickname Archie Andrews is simply one of the most important protagonists of the Riverdale series. He plays the role of a teenager who is a student at Riverdale High, the town's high school. He also plays football and is a member of the Bulldogs team. His jersey number is nine. However, even though his coach told him to take this number, Archies decides to change it. Indeed, the nine is the jersey of Jason Blossom, the character around whom the plot of Riverdale's first season unfolds. Archie Andrews will simply decide to take the number seventeen.
