Pichu is Pokemon No. 172 of the Pokedex. This adorable little creature is actually the previous stage of Pikachu evolution - making Pichu one of the most famous and beloved pokemons of all!An "electrik" type, Pichu is a young Pokemon and doesn't have perfect control over his electricity, sometimes causing him to send his own discharges or electrocute his fellow pokemons... Especially when he's surprised or experiences strong emotions, that's when his electric discharges go out of control!Pichu is physically very close to his Pikachu evolution: a small yellow mouse, with pointed ears, a lightning tail and cheeks reddened by electric discharges. Small details (apart from the size) also mark the difference. Pichu, for example, has a completely black tail and a spot that gives the effect that he wears a necklace or a bow tie around his neck.Although Pichu is small and cute, he is no less dangerous! Among his attacks are Lightning, Charm, Mini-Tail or Machination and Lightning-Cage. More or less powerful attacks, coupled with his defensive skills, make Pichu very effective in battle.Pichu's POP Pokemon miniature is a very nice achievement. We find the small smiling yellow pokemon, with its pink cheekbones charged with electricity and its two big pointed ears (big ears... compared to Pichu's size!). Pichu's eyes are bright, giving a very friendly effect and contributing to make the figurine even more endearing.Pichu's POP features him very simply since Pichu is standing on his hind legs with both arms pointing in different directions and a broad smile on his face. Finally, the essential physical details have not been forgotten: Pichu's ears are covered with a black band, his cheekbones are pinker and smaller than Pikachu's, his neck is surrounded by a black "necklace" and his lightning tail is also completely black.Did you know that Pichu's name comes from the contraction of Pika (sparkle) and Chuchu (the sound of the mouse)? A perfect name for this adorable little Pokemon.
