The Dilophosaurus is at the heart of the plot of Jurassic Park, the amusement park imagined by John Hammond and dedicated to the re-creation of dinosaurs. The dilophosaurus is one of the species "resurrected" by Hammond's scientific teams. It is a carnivorous, medium-sized (up to 6m long and 2.5m high), carnivorous dinosaur with crests extending from its eyebrows to the back of its head. The Dilophosaurus has found its place in the plot of the film Jurassic Park because it is facing Dennis Nedry. Dennis is one of the engineers of the park, in charge of the security systems, but he is corrupted by a competing company and agrees to sell them dinosaur embryos.Dennis devises a plan to steal the embryos and escape from the park. His plan involves disabling the park's security, and the dinosaur enclosures, resulting in chaos in Jurassic Park...While he was fleeing, and while trying to get his jeep stuck in the mud, Dennis Nedry comes face to face with a dilophosaurus. The dilophosaurus succeeds in infiltrating the car and when Dennis doesn't report, it's far too late: the dilophosaurus spreads its crests and spits its venom in the engineer's face. This version of the POP Jurassic Park figure of the Dilophosaurus is a fully red "color variant". It shows the details so characteristic of the dinosaur with its scales, large dark eyes, open jaw, sharp teeth and two crests extending from the eyebrow arch. A most frightening POP!
