Sokka is one of the main characters of the American animated series Avatar, the Last Airbender. He is Katara's older brother and therefore the son of Chief Hakoda and Kya. Like Katara, he was raised by his grandmother Kanna after his father left for the war and his mother died. He is a warrior from the South Pole Water Tribe. Before his father went to war against the Fire Nation with other warriors of the tribe, Sokka as a child wanted to go with them, but his father refused considering that it was too dangerous for him and that being the oldest boy of the tribe at the time, he had to take his father's place as a leader and train future warriors. A few years later, Sokka and his sister Katara discover in the South Pole the new Avatar, a young boy named Aang trapped in the ice for almost 100 years. They decide to help and accompany the young Avatar in his quest to bring balance and peace to the world.Unlike Aang, Katara or Toph, Sokka does not master any element, but he quickly establishes himself as a great tactician and strategist by his ingenuity becoming like his father whom he considers as a model. Sokka is a young warrior of the Water Tribe, courageous and ingenious, although sometimes he is rather clumsy and makes some mistakes. He is still an essential character in the group who plans the stages of their adventures, the infiltration missions and the attacks. He becomes an accomplished warrior during his adventure by learning the handling of the sword with the help of Master Piandao as well as the fighting technique of the Kyoshi warriors, an atypical fighting style that allows the initiated to use the strength of their opponents to win a fight. Moreover, Sokka knows how to handle the boomerang given by her father like no other. Later, thanks to the experience he has gained, he will become a formidable warrior and a charismatic leader. Sokka will lead the invasion of the Fire Nation during the Day of Black Sun.This POP figure features Sokka the ingenious warrior of the South Pole Water Tribe. He has a typical haircut of the South Pole tribesmen, hair shaved on the sides leaving long hair above his head to make a ponytail. He is dressed in a typical Water Tribe outfit, a tunic with shades of blue and white. Like his sister and all the people living in the Poles, he has a swarthy skin, due to the Sun's radiation on the ice. On this figure Sokka is holding the famous boomerang given to him by his father before he left to fight against the Fire Nation. Sokka is ready to send it to stun his enemies.
