Pumbaa is an important character in the Disney cartoon The Lion King. This cartoon tells the story of Simba, a young lion cub destined to become king of the savannah, the Land of Lions after his father Mufasa. Following a ruse by his brother Scar, Simba puts himself in danger and Mufasa comes to his rescue. After taking Simba to safety, Mufasa tries to climb the cliff, but can only hold on with one leg. Scar, his brother betrays him and pushes him to his death. He will then incite Simba to flee. In the forest, Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa, a meerkat and a warthog. The two of them form a funny duo, full of energy, who only think about having fun! They live together according to the precepts of the Hakuna Matata, life without worries, a philosophy of life that pushes them to never take things seriously. It is with this philosophy of life that Simba, adopted by the duo, will grow up far from his own. One day, Simba ran into his childhood friend Nala who pushed him to take his place on the throne again. With the help of his friends, Simba decided to take back the throne and chase away his tyrannical uncle, Scar.In this Pop! action figure, Funko depicts Pumbaa in the scene where he and Timon distract him by performing a Hawaiian dance to keep the hyenas away from Scar's lair. Timon is then disguised as a vahine and Pumbaa is used as bait as a roasted pig. The meerkat sells the delicious taste of his friend, allowing Simba to pass by. On this rather faithful figurine, we recognize the oversized head and the two horns of his mouth, his big ears. Pumbaa holds an apple in his mouth, clenched between his teeth. As always, he has a big smile on his face.
