Dr. Ellie Sattler, full name Ellen Sattler, is one of the central characters in Jurassic Park's first opus. She is one of the scientists invited by John Hammond for a monitoring visit of the park for her expertise as a paleo-botanist.She forms with Alan Grant (who is also her companion and colleague) and Ian Malcom the very complementary trio of experts: Grant brings his knowledge of dinosaurs, Malcom his scientific theories and philosophy on life, while she brings an expertise on plants coupled with a good knowledge of dinosaurs.Ellie Sattler is captivated when she discovers the progress of Jurassic Park and meets real dinosaurs for the first time and rubs shoulders with plants that were extinct millions of years ago. Nevertheless, she remains quite sceptical and distrustful about the long-term viability.After the safety of the park is compromised and the dinosaurs are on the loose, Ellie will be brave enough to face the T-Rex and velociraptors several times. Her temperament is very instinctive and will allow her to make good decisions when faced with the dangers of Jurassic Park.Funko pays a special tribute to Ellie Sattler by representing her in the iconic Jurassic Park jeep. So far, he's the only character in the film to have this honour and it's not without reminding the chase scene where Ian Malcolm injured and Ellie are in a jeep in the park being chased by the T-Rex.The mythical vehicle bears the Jurassic Park logo.
