A damage hero in Overwatch, Doomfist is a very complete character that combines mobility and strength. This imposing fighter, expert in many martial arts and equipped with a cybernetic armed arm, is a dangerous fighter who leaves little chance to his opponents...You have to go back in time to understand who Doomfist really is, and what his story is. His name is Akande Ogundimu, he is 45 years old and was born in Nigeria to a wealthy family who owns a high-tech prosthetic company.Akande is a healthy mind in a healthy body. He practices many martial arts which he combines to develop his own style. This quickly becomes his passion and the young man engages in competitions around the world.Everything stops when Doomfist is victim of an accident where he loses his right arm. His dreams are shattered, and although he quickly benefits from the best of care (the family business making prostheses...), he is unable to regain the upper hand. At first, he devotes himself to the development of the company, but seeks a meaning to give to his life.It is his mentor Akinjide Adeyemi who will bring him this meaning by introducing him to the Claw terrorist organization. Doomfist feels in his place, convinced that humanity can only evolve in chaotic cycles. Man quickly has the ambition to become an executive of the organization and puts all his intellectual and physical skills at the service of this new cause.Extremely dangerous, he is followed by the Overwatch who end up capturing and imprisoning him. Doomfist will patiently wait for the opportunity to escape, before taking his place in the Claw and putting his plans for the mass destruction of the world back on track...For this Doomfist POP, Funko pays tribute to the character by representing him in one of his epic skins: the leopard skin. The Overwatch character is thus found in a leopard skin outfit, a nod to Nigeria where Doomfist comes from.The most striking thing on this Doomfist figure are the paint marks related to his ritual. Wide stripes cover the bald skull of the character, he has features on his cheeks and a spike-shaped necklace drawn on his neck.His outfit is also in the colours of the leopard, right down to the dressing of his fearsome sword arm.
