Hector, his full name Héctor Rivera is an endangered skeleton. As the animated film Coco tells it, the dead live in the Land of the Dead as long as their memory lives in the land of the living. Héctor's misfortune is that his granddaughter, Coco, now at the end of her life, is beginning to forget him... He is therefore on the verge of disappearing when his path crosses that of Miguel on the day of the Feast of the Dead.Miguel wants to meet his idol, the famous singer Ernesto de la Cruz, who was just as popular during his lifetime as he was in the Land of the Dead. Miguel is convinced that his passion for music is a sign that Ernesto is his ancestor. Stuck in the Land of the Dead, Miguel has only a few hours left to meet Ernesto and manage to return to the world of the living. Héctor offers Miguel his help in exchange for him to bring back a picture of him in his world, in order to perpetuate his memory so that it doesn't die out forever.Through their adventures, Héctor and Miguel will realize their parentage. Miguel will learn why music has been banned from his family for generations and, above all, meet the person who passed on this gift to him.Hector's Funko Pop figurine is unique since it represents a skeleton character. Faithful to the animated film, Hector wears a special clothing reminiscent of his mediocre condition even in the land of the dead: torn clothes and a straw hat! Nevertheless, the figurine gives a glimpse of the warm face and the benevolent gaze of the man whose life has been tragically turned upside down. Thanks to Miguel, order will be restored and Héctor will go from being forgotten to being a beloved musician! Funko pushed the detail with the make-up on Héctor's face reminding us that Coco's story takes place on the day of the Dia de los Muertos.
