Lumière is one of the enchanted objects in the film Beauty and the Beast, adapted from the Disney cartoon of the same name, itself inspired by a classic tale. In the film, a young prince, punished for his arrogance, is transformed into a monster by an old lady to whom he refuses hospitality. This old lady is actually a witch and to punish him casts a spell on the whole castle and its inhabitants who take the appearance of various objects. The prince who has become the Beast must fall in love and be loved in return before the last petal of the enchanted rose offered by the witch falls. When Belle arrives at the castle to free her father Maurice, she will discover the sensitivity and love hidden under the mask of the monster. Thus, all the enchanted objects in the castle see in Belle the possibility of lifting their spell.Lumière is therefore one of them, it is the butler of the castle, transformed into a chandelier. It is composed of three candles, the main one forms his face and the two others his hands. It never separates from Cogsworth, the clock. Despite their many disagreements, they are best friends, Lumière loves Cogsworth and both form the comic duo of the film. Cogsworth is rigid, while Lumière is joyful and impulsive by nature. Lumière is a seducer, he likes to please the ladies and especially Plumette for whom he has a crush. On this Pop figurine, Funko represents Lumière in its cinematic version. We find the character with almost human features. We find the three candles, the main one, half consumed, is placed on his head and the two others are on his hands. On his body, we find a uniform recalling his function in the castle. One finds the human features of his face with two large black eyes, his eyebrows, a nose in relief and small drawn moustaches. His style is close to the Pop Cogsworth figurine, with elements of baroque inspiration.
