Travis Bickle is the main character of the movie Taxi Driver. He is this Taxi Driver, this Taxi Driver whose personality goes far beyond his profession. Indeed, Travis is a lonely man, confronted with his own solitude and thus, only with himself. He meets and befriends an underage prostitute and plans to assassinate a presidential candidate before changing his mind and saving his friend in a final burst of clumsy humanity that leads him to commit a heroic, if monstrous, sacrifice.Travis Bickle is a unique character, one of those terrifying main characters that only Scorcese has the secret of, so much so that he knows how to show them to be both believable, monstrous, but also appreciable in certain ways. You can't help but feel affection for Travis, lost as a child whose psyche is corrupted as he experiences New York alone.Without even having seen the movie, everyone remembers the "You talking to me" scene in front of the mirror with a Colt. This Colt, the Funko POP Travis Bickle figure carries it firmly in his right hand. Indeed, the Travis Bickle figurine represents the character as he is at the end of the film.
