Elliott is the little boy who discovers E.T. in Spielberg's film. E.T. is an extraterrestrial who came to Earth to study botany with some of his peers. Spotted by the U.S. government, the flying saucer is forced to leave in a hurry and E.T. finds himself alone on Earth ...Wandering to escape from government officials, E.T. is discovered by young Elliott as he is taking out the garbage. Hurrying to tell his mother, sister and brother about his discovery, Elliott is mocked for his overflowing imagination...When he finds the little alien, Elliott decides to hide him in his room and befriends E.T.. The two will create such a strong connection that Elliott will feel the fear, joy or discomfort of the little creature.Determined to help E.T. return home, Elliott asks his brother Michael and little sister Gertie for help.
