The hero of the Die Hard movies, John McClane is the New York cop played by Bruce Willis who is featured in Die Hard. While on his way to Los Angeles to try to patch things up with his wife, McClane finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation orchestrated by German terrorists whose goal is to steal $640 million from the tower of John McClane's wife's company.Angry, stubborn and a little suicidal, John McClane is the cliché of the cop who does everything but follow the rules. Once he understands what is going on in the Nakatomi Corporation tower, McClane will do everything in his power to thwart the terrorists' plans, even though he is alone against a dozen armed men. Alone? Not quite, since he can count on an ally, at least a moral one, by communicating via one of the terrorists' walkie-talkies with agent Al Powell who had been sent on reconnaissance.The terrorists are led by Hans Gruber, whose meticulously prepared plan will be thwarted by John McClane. He sees his men die one after the other, sending him into a state of fury. Starting with the first corpse sent by John in the elevator where John has tied to a chair the body of one of the terrorists, Tony Vreski, not forgetting to put a Santa Claus hat on him and to write "now I have a machine gun ho ho ho" on his sweater!On this POP of John McClane, we find the Bruce Willis we love in Die Hard.
