Miguel Rivera is the little boy hero of the Disney studios' animated film Coco. Trying to live out his passion for music when it was banished from his family following a tragedy, Miguel finds himself embarking on an extraordinary adventure in the land of the dead at the Feast of the Dead .If music was banned in his family, it was because Miguel's grandfather abandoned them to pursue his career as a musician. Since then, the Rivera family has put a cross on the grandfather and on music. They live a quiet daily life from their shoe-shop business but all this changes as Miguel, a guitar enthusiast and star Ernesto de la Cruz, steals his idol's guitar and is propelled to the land of the dead.It is there that he will meet Ernesto, but also Hector, a dead man who dies little by little because his memory is no longer honoured in the world of the living. As his adventure progresses, Miguel discovers that Hector is his grandfather, but also that Ernesto is an impostor who has stolen all of Hector's talent?Miguel then fights to return to the land of the living, save his grandfather and restore his memory and the passion for music in his family.
