Demogorgon is the monster at the center of the plot in Stranger Things. If nothing is known about its origin, its name comes from the one invented by the four boys in their fiery parts of Dungeons and Dragons. As they had just spent the evening playing when their friend Will was kidnapped, it was only natural that they named the monster after him?This monster with the appearance of a man with the head of a monster is the predator that inhabits the world upside down. If in the first episodes we know nothing about its appearance, it becomes more and more visible as the episodes of the first season of Stranger Things unfold.It all starts when Eleven is sent to the upside down world in an experiment in Hawkins National Laboratory. Unfortunately, the experiment opens a loophole that allows Demogorgon to hunt in the real world. He then kidnaps several people including Will Byers and Barabara Holland... It is by creating some kind of tears that Demogorgon goes from the upside down world to the real world and comes to capture its prey, often attracted by blood. It is by understanding that the predator is attracted by haemoglobin that Nancy and Jonathan try to set a trap to kill it.Funko pays a nice tribute to the first season of Stranger Things with this POP figure of Demogorgon in Gold version presented at the SDCC. We find the monster with a rather tall and skinny physique, and a head shaped like an open flower. We can recognize in details the numerous spikes or teeth on its skin, its hooked claws and the rather disgusting look of its limbs although the figurine is fully gilded.This is a very beautiful Demogorgon figurine that will please collectors and fans of the Stranger Things series. A POP with the effigy of the "big bad guy" of the first season and the predator at the center of the plot.
